Color Samples Of Vinyl Siding

In the beginning, vinyl siding was offered only in lighter colors. Today, it's common for you to see a mixture of colors for vinyl siding. Thanks to advancements in color technology and vinyl manufacturing, choices are now much broader. That's why selecting from color samples of vinyl can be confusing, particularly if you don't have a specific color in mind.

Before anything else, ask your contractor which brands he would recommend. Though they may be similar colors, they can differ in hue from one manufacturer to the other. Your contractor should know the best brand in the market for you to get the best value for your money.

When choosing from color samples of vinyl, it's best if you use the elimination method. Once you get the samples of the recommended brands, spread them on the table and eliminate the colors that you don't like. Choose two or three colors that you like and take them outside to observe under natural lighting. Different colors give different hues when viewed with natural light. After all, you will use your vinyl siding on the exterior in natural lighting.

It's also good to view the colors during different hours of the day. You might be surprised at how different colors look when viewed in the morning and afternoon. Hang the color on your wall and imagine how your house would look in each color. Although you may have a favorite color from high school, try to consider the location of your house and its' surrounding to determine if the color samples of vinyl would match. Don't forget to see if the color matches your fixtures such as lamps, doorknobs, and even your mailbox.
